Students are on their second day of research for the Endangered Species Day Art Contest.
From Swallowed Tail Kites to Oregon Spotted Frogs, students are selecting and researching species from the endgangered list to celebrate in a work of art.
In addition to finding the species they would like to make an image of, they also need research facts about the species as well as decide on what materials and composition would apply best to portray their species.
