In 8th grade, students worked on glazing their Anthropomorphic Pottery pieces as well as create their plush monsters in the style of Takashi Murakami. In 7th grade, students worked on finishing their comics, glazing their creatures, and worked on printmaking.
The printmaking project was partially funded through a SHIP grant from the National Art Education Foundation. I was able to purchase inks and plates for students to print with and I am grateful for funding opportunities like these to help students experience art making opportunities that would otherwise not be available. Thank you again to the National Art Education Foundation for your support! 8th graders will be starting their printmaking project when we return from Thanksgiving break using materials purchased as a result of these funds!
Check out all of the crazy fun we had this week creating in the classroom below in the collage I made using this app.
