Students turned in over 800 paper cranes to help bring funds and awareness to the disaster relief for Japan.
Instead of sending all of the cranes to Seattle (where they have reached their goal of 100,000 cranes), we are sending our cranes to Princeton University to be a part of the Million Crane Project!
This project is open until May 11th and as of today they only have around 12000 cranes - so if you would like to participate, please do! It is easy and fun and the deadline is May 11.
In addition to sending the cranes off today, students got to start their perspective drawings in the hallway. 8th grade is using 2 point perspective and 7th grade is using 1 point.
