Students are still working on their clay projects today. We went through the process of planning by coming up with ideas, narrowing them down, and then making thumbnails that express what we are trying to say in our art.
I had a great time with the demonstrations today as students voted on which of my plans I should execute. In every case, it was either my third or fourth option. Pushing yourself to think up different ways to do the same idea helps open up the possibilities and you usually end up with a more interesting design and answer in the end.
