Students are working on the MacBooks this week in various ways. 7th grade students are using them to create animations while 8th grade students are using them to finish up and get started on the next project.
7th grade students started planning their animations yesterday after looking at a number of ways animations are created. Today was spent finishing up their scripts and storyboards and tomorrow everyone should be ready to begin their animations. We also looked at these examples from another school. It was fun for students to see what other students their age are working on in other schools.
8th grade students are working on prints, and as you can see from the images above, they are using expressive portraits as an option to create their prints. Other students are using their hands or shoes as the subject. Tomorrow we will start the process of printing by transferring the image onto a block and carving out our designs.
